Version 1.0.2 (10 October 2026)

This release brings Modbus TCP, a working Value Store, network commands, new Logic Studio blocks, MQTT setup in the Configurator, and enforcement of PIN and user access. It also removes the web client.

#How to update

1. Update the Veltnova client on every device: Google Play on Android, the App Store on iOS, the new installer on Windows.
2. Install Configurator 1.0.6. It opens existing projects without changes.
3. Open your project and deploy it once, so the gateway receives the new settings.
4. The web client no longer exists. Use the Veltnova client.

#Objects and pages

• Weather object: shows the current conditions for the project location (temperature, condition, humidity, wind, high and low). See Weather.
• Popup pages: open a page as a popup over the current page. See Popup.
• Power Flow Panel now shows live values. See Power Flow Panel.
• Icon objects and Picture apply Rotation, Mirror, Image Fitting and Label Position in the Veltnova client.
• Static Text follows its Text Alignment setting.
• A Zigbee switch can be tapped on the dashboard, including gangs 3 and up.
• Two new values under Solar Values: the sun's Azimuth and Elevation, calculated from the project location.

#Action Buttons and commands

• Write KNX Text (DPT 16), Write KNX 3-byte Unsigned and Write KNX Scene Number (DPT 17) now run.
• Open Panel/Page on Every Client moves every other app on the local network to the page too.
• New Network I/O commands run: Run Configured Network Output, Refresh Network Virtual Input, Send HTTP Request, Send TCP Command, Send UDP Command and Wake-on-LAN. See Action Button.
• Modbus commands and values can be run from an Action Button, an event or Logic Studio.

#Interfaces and services

• Modbus TCP devices, each with its own host, port and unit id. See Modbus TCP.
• Modbus writes: datapoints can have a write function, commands run from the Commands tab, and a KNX group address can write a register. Diagnostics has a Modbus tab.
• Value Store now works: it keeps KNX values across restarts, answers bus reads, and republishes values at startup, on request and on a schedule. See Value store.
• Network I/O: network outputs (HTTP, SOAP, TCP, UDP, multicast, Wake-on-LAN) and TCP and UDP listener inputs now run. Input values reach the pages directly. See Network I/O gateway.
• MQTT is now set up in the Configurator: the MQTT Client (broker, topic bindings, Home Assistant discovery) and the MQTT Broker. A subscribe binding can write to a Value Store value, a Modbus datapoint, a Zigbee switch or a Network I/O input. With the gateway's own broker, the client signs in with the broker's login by itself. See MQTT client and MQTT broker.
• Logic Studio runs more blocks: Compare, Range Check, Threshold Filter, Changed, Rising Edge, Falling Edge, Time Schedule, System Value Changed, KNX Telegram, Network Output and Set Value Store. The System Value block can read any value the gateway publishes. See Logic Studio.
• Time zones can be written as names such as Asia/Dubai or Europe/London, including daylight saving.

#Access control

• Require PIN and User access are now enforced. The apps hide objects from other users and ask for the PIN, and the gateway refuses a command that does not pass the rules. See Common properties.
• The client has a Sign out option.

#Fixed

• Prayer times and other sun-based times were about 10 minutes late.
• Logic Studio blocks On/Off Delay, Up/Down Counter and Comparator / 2 Points Regulator gave no output.
• A Command block set to On trigger now runs every time its input goes from 0 to 1, not only once after the gateway starts.
• Modbus devices: Retries is used, a copied device no longer shares ids with the original, and Only on change no longer publishes on every poll.
• Zigbee switches with more than two gangs are supported.
• The Configurator's Value Store and Network I/O help texts no longer say the services do nothing.

#Good to know

• Open Panel/Page on Every Client reaches apps on the local network only. Apps connected through the cloud do not follow yet.
• SSH command network outputs are not supported.
• Logic Studio blocks Manual Run, Sheet Input, Sheet Output, Notification and the three Thermostat blocks still do not run.
• Some saved settings are still not used by the apps: Camera image dimension, timestamp and portrait, and State Action's per-state Command and Hold press function. See the object pages.
